P.E. Goals

We have already had our first fitness assessment in PE, and before I know it, it will be time for the second, to see how you have improved. Here is how I did the first time, and how to improve.

Push-up Test- In healthy range (7-20)

Pacer Test- NA (I can still work on it to have a good score in the second fitness assessment!)

Sit-ups Test- In healthy range (46-80)

Sit and reach- In healthy range (20-25)

I have been able to achieve the healthy range in every single test, not including pacer. I wish to improve and get to higher scores on some, but stay the same on others because I am happy with them. These are my plans and goals...

Inline image 1Push ups- I nearly collapsed when I was on my very last push-up, so I really could work on my stamina. My new goal will be 30-35 push-ups. Every gymnastics day, I will push myself to do more than what my coach asks so that I will have more stamina. I will also do this every Saturday if I take too long in gymnastics. I hope I will improve!

Pacer Test- I was absent for the day of the pacer test, but I can always just make sure I can achieve something good in the next fitness assessment. I plan to get at least 28 laps at the minimum. To carry this out, I will go out every Sunday for 10 minutes and run. I will mostly try to run without stopping. I can't wait to see how this will turn out.

Sit-ups Test- I have already reached my goal of 80 and I am proud of it. However, I don't wish to drop down, so I will practice everyday for 2 minutes nonstop. Hopefully, that will keep me where I am!

Sit and Reach- Even though I am already in the 40-50 range, I am a gymnast and believe that if I practice this, I can get even further to 45. The only thing I don't want to do is go down. So I will try to go down and push myself in gymnastics, even if it hurts a bit(in gymnastics, if you don't push yourself down, the coach does it. It does not look pleasant).

I think that after these practices, I will be a little better than before, or stay where I am happy. Please do comment below if you think it will work or you have any suggestions at all. I hope the next fitness assessment goes well for everyone!

  1. You did great on your fitness tests! You set some fantastic goals. What happens if you quit gymnastics? Where will you practice you push-ups and your sit and reach? I hope you reach your goal! ( Even though I know you will).

  2. You did a very good job on your fitness tests, like Noemi said. I also really like how you organized your goals/writing. I like how you had an intro and a conclusion too. You also had reasonable goals, and I really hope that you accomplish your goals. Great job!
