Which Laptop?

One of the big enemies of a new, sleek laptop is your hunger or thirst. Well, only when you are working on your laptop. See, you might be trying to finish some sort of project while eating, and it spills out onto the keyboard and screen. What do you do? Nothing! All you can do is clean it up and hope nothing went really wrong. And water, you are drinking, a drop goes in a place that it shouldn’t and bam! There goes your laptop. And there is nothing you can do about it except you preventing it from happening. Don’t eat on your laptop or next to it. Eat at the table. You can keep a water bottle, but not directly on top of your laptop. And don’t keep it on the surface you are working on, keep it on the floor or of you are on the floor keep it in a position that if it spills, the drink won’t touch your computer. We don’t want to give laptops food that they won’t eat.
Does your laptop have a cool case like mine? If not, you might want one for if it falls, the damage will be less. But you don’t want a little damage, you want none, right? I strongly advise to get a case, but there are other things to keep in mind too. You should hold it with either two hands, or one hand when it is 100% in you grip and safety or you are holding it by your case’s handle. If you don’t have a case, forget using one hand. You should never leave it on the floor, even if you are watching it carefully. If you need both hands for something, put it in between you legs, that way, it obviously won’t slip but no one will step on it either. Anything can happen, so you should make sure the percentage of bad things is low for your laptop.
Can you guess what the most common way to break your laptop was here at school? Water? Slipping or dropping? Viruses? Screens breaking? No, no, no, no, yes. Surprisingly, is it cracking your screen. If you are suddenly called for something urgent, you might just slam down your laptop and go. That is not a good way to close it. Do you know why? I bet you do, but it breaks the screen (I told you anyway). Just take the extra second to gently push it down. Also, if you have a pouch on your case, don’t shove all sorts of things in there because the pressure is bad for the screen. Remembering the pressure, your elbows and pushing down the on the case is not what you should do when the laptop is closed. Breaking the screen is something that you do not want to do, so pay heed to my advice unless you want to lose your laptop.
Of course you love your laptop. It helps you with soooo much! But you have to help it by keeping it safe. Laptops don’t like food on them, so you should do it a favor and not eat while working on it. Be very careful with drinks, and make sure you put them on the floor. Also, keep it protected from slips, steps and e.t.c., by using a case of a hard cover. It doesn’t have to look pretty if you don’t want it to since its purpose is to minimize damage in an accident. Or help carry it. Finally, don’t let your screen break. I think that you get that one. There is quite a bit of responsibility when you get a laptop, so use my tips, be careful, and make sure that you have fun on your new laptop.
