The Christlite Methodists Home (2nd visit)
I remember the first time we went to the Methodists home. It was fun and everyone was so welcoming. We had spent 2 weeks preparing for this. We decided to make pasta necklaces and decorate hearts. We all brought stuff from home so that we could do this. Today was the day that we had gone. Even though we had already done this once, I still could not help the feeling churning in my stomach. I was a little nervous. What if the people weren't nice like last time? What if no one wanted to make pasta necklaces? These were the thoughts I had while I looked out of the window of the bus that was taking us to the home. Again, I was wrong. They were smiling and waving at us. I felt myself relax. They were so kind and polite, despite everything they had been through. There was one man who looked really frustrated and was trying to put the pasta on the necklace.
