The Christlite Methodists Home (2nd visit)

I remember the first time we went to the Methodists home. It was fun and everyone was so welcoming. We had spent 2 weeks preparing for this. We decided to make pasta necklaces and decorate hearts. We all brought stuff from home so that we could do this. Today was the day that we had gone. Even though we had already done this once, I still could not help the feeling churning in my stomach. I was a little nervous. What if the people weren't nice like last time? What if no one wanted to make pasta necklaces? These were the thoughts I had while I looked out of the window of the bus that was taking us to the home. Again, I was wrong. They were smiling and waving at us. I felt myself relax. They were so kind and polite, despite everything they had been through. There was one man who looked really frustrated and was trying to put the pasta on the necklace. I walked over and tried to help him, by showing him an example and putting a small piece onto a string. He was saying some thing...

P.E. Goals

We have already had our first fitness assessment in PE, and before I know it, it will be time for the second, to see how you have improved. Here is how I did the first time, and how to improve. Push-up Test- In healthy range (7-20) Pacer Test- NA (I can still work on it to have a good score in the second fitness assessment!) Sit-ups Test- In healthy range (46-80) Sit and reach- In healthy range (20-25) I have been able to achieve the healthy range in every single test, not including pacer. I wish to improve and get to higher scores on some, but stay the same on others because I am happy with them. These are my plans and goals... Push ups - I nearly collapsed when I was on my very last push-up, so I really could work on my stamina. My new goal will be 30-35 push-ups. Every gymnastics day, I will push myself to do more than what my coach asks so that I will have more stamina. I will also do this every Saturday if I take too long in gymnastics. I hope I will im...

My Superpower

Wow! I get a chance to choose between 2 superpowers! This is kind of a hard choice, I mean, invisibility. Imagine all of the things you could use that amazing skill for. Flight. It just sounds so amazing. However, I think I would go with flight. If you are wondering why I have chosen this, keep on reading (I hope this can convince someone who disagrees with me!). The first reason I chose flight is because, it is something I have always wanted to do. It sounds so exciting and fun-filled. Picture this, you slowly start rising higher and higher into the air. The breeze is cool, and the sun is beautiful and golden. Small birds are chirping around you, while you look down and see a wonderful view of people skittering around. You could even rise up into a cloud, even though that might not be the best idea if it seems stormy. You can surprise your parents and friends all the time. Can't you imagine their shocked appearance? I would be using this on my little brother a lot (evil grin)!...
