My Fictional Friend

If I got a chance to bring someone out from the fantasy world, it would be Matilda by Roald Dahl. You want to know why? Read on and I'll tell you. First, she has courage. She has to "fight" her parents and principal. She could easily chicken out and live that way. Someone I'd want around, knowing I would almost always be safe. She can also stand up for herself and others, which I, well... kind of need to work on. If I had a bully, she would there for me. It would feel nice to know I have a friend that is strong and has powers. Oh that reminds me, for another reason, she's got powers! All she has to do is think of all the things that anger her and she can easily bring things from anywhere and move things around. If I could borrow her powers, I would surely use it to help other people, creatures, and answer questions. Imagine all the good magic could. If a thief ever did something bad, you could easily put him in jail. Alright fine, if I DID get to borrow the powers, I may for fun a bit (evil grin). Wait, wait, don't go! Only a little more! Even though Matilda lives unhappily, she always fixes problems for nice people. She never leaves things in a mess. She sometimes is willing to sacrifice herself to fix things.  Matilda isn't my favorite character, but she would be a great friend. Even if you have a favorite character, do you really think they would be your best friend. I've now told my story, what's yours?

  1. I liked how you added statements to make it interesting and I agree with you about Matilda as your best friend because you did great reasoning and now I think Matilda is the character that I want to have as a best friend.
