All About Me

The first time Anushka picked up a pencil, well, she doesn’t remember that! She has spent hours as a 15 month year old trying to copy what was written in all of her favorite books on stray pieces of paper. At the tender age of two, she decided to write a story completely coincidentally like one of her favorite bedtime stories with a lot of help from her mother. As she learned how to actually write, you could almost always see her reading a book or in the kitchen, chatting and cooking with her mother and nanny. She loves going to the beach to relax and gather ideas during vacations and is still bouncing around the world with her family. Her most prized story is called The Duck that Got Stuck in the Mud which she can’t exactly read, but is very special to her, since it was the first book she made by herself. Is this what you want? Or this lovely thing? Did you just get a brand new laptop too!!!!! If you did, you can easily understand mine and the rest of grade 6’s excitement. You will want to guard it like it had a real life. Or guard it with your own life. Nothing comes for free, and even though you paid money for it, that isn’t all. Nothing can last forever and it is your responsibility to keep it safe. A simple slip, to a virus, to a teeny drop of water. You are expected to be the one who makes sure the laptop comes to no harm, so I just want to drill you through what could happen and how to make sure it won’t ever occur. Then it will become a habit if you keep practicing and you won’t even notice that weight of something terrible will happen on your shoulders.
