When I learned that I could write a story of any genre a wished, I already had my story planned. Can you guess what genre I chose? That isn't really a hard question if you just look at my title. I chose fantasy! This was independent, which means that I did this without much help. This is also the last writing unit of the year! My fantasy story is about a girl named Mica who finds this tree which takes her... you know what? (without any further ado) Just read the story and find out what happens!

Harriet Tubman was an incredibly brave and kindhearted lady who was the savior of many slaves in the American Revolutionary War. She made differences and effected change and that is one thing I will describe with more detail to you. However, things didn’t go perfectly and she had struggles on the way, and I will tell you about them. Finally, I am going to take a trip into Harriet’s shoes and imagine what it was like to be her.
